Difference between laptop and netbook
We keep on hearing unique terms for the conventional laptop like a netbook and a notebook. So what is the difference between a laptop and netbook, or a notebook and a laptop?
A laptop or a notebook is a portable computer, that has a screen hinged on a keyboard. A laptop has a battery for portable power and a touchpad rather than a mouse. Netbooks are mini laptops(also called ultraportables and subnotebooks) and are smaller in size and weight. A netbook is the size of an average diary and costs lesser than a standard laptop with prices starting from £150. On your mini laptop, there is no optical disc drive(no CD or DVD) and it lacks the power to handle demanding programs. But since you can find everything online, the loss of an optical drive does not really matter for a netbook.
