With the news of Shahrukh Khan detained for being a Khan, is the US harsh with Muslim names?

I think US is fair, though it does not look like that from our perspective. If you see, there has been no terror attack or bombs after 9/11. After that very day, security was so tight, that no one has the guts to do anything against US. True, the US put a lot of people in detention, specially Asians and Muslims as we saw in the movie New York. But then if you show all of your papers properly, the US will not do anything. US is doubly concerned about its security when it comes to muslims, because it was this sect that was reponsible for 9/11. So the US is not taking any chances. If Christians or Jews had done it, the US would have been seriously strict with them too.

I am a Muslim myself and still I didnt have problems in the US. You prove yourself with DOCUMENTATION and the US will have no problems.
