Best Actor in a Comic Role: Sanjay Dutt (All the Best) Sanjay Dutt's performance deserves a Filmfare award, it was one of the five career-best performances in his career.
Best Actor in a Negative Role: Prakash Raj(Wanted)
Best Male Debut Award: Nil
Best Female Debut Award: Mahi Gill and Kallki Koechlin (Dev D)
Best Story: RocketsingH Salesman of the Year
Best Screenplay: New York
Best Editing: Kurbaan
Best Action: Wanted
Best Choreography: Love Aaj Kal
Best cinematography: Blue
Best Art Direction: Blue

Best lyrics: Kumaar and Sayeed Quadri for Dil Ibadat(Tum Mile)
