RSS Feed Meaning and Explain
Imagine how convenient it is to have a newspaper delivered at home, rather than go to a news-paper vendor to buy a copy. This is actually what an RSS feed does; information and latest updates on your favorite topics come directly to your desktop or your web-browser as “bookmarks” without having to hunt for sites that can give you information. Also many people do not tend to remember a blog’s name and so it may be difficult for people to come to the blog every now and then. If one subscribes to the RSS feed, the news and updates on the blog are delivered to the reader’s desktop and he can become a loyal reader of that particular blog.
Also subscribing to an RSS reader gives you anonymity. The full form of RSS is Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. To avail of an RSS feed, you will need an aggregator called an RSS feed-reader or newsreader. Google Reader is one of the many aggregators.
